Spatial Structures

Open Call for all Creative Practitioners

A paid mentorship opportunity for creative practitioners (all art forms, including architects) to receive development support from Workhouse Union on a self-initiated, place-based project.

Deadline:
Thursday 29th September 2022 @ 5pm

Overview
Spatial Structures is a mentoring opportunity that meets a recognised need in collaborative practice to provide time and support for creative practitioners to develop project ideas at an early stage. Spatial Structures recognises that collaborative processes are complex, and projects at an early stage can benefit from time and resources to focus on creating a robust project plan, context, funding opportunities and stakeholder buy-in.

Through this Open Call, two creative practitioners (individual or collective) will be selected for this mentoring and development opportunity. Workhouse Union will provide mentorship at the initial stages of a project development to support the selected individuals to develop a coherent project plan; identify the community of place and interest; identify project partners/stakeholders; focus on team and community assets; develop project scope and approach; identify outputs and engagement strategy; identify funding and support opportunities.

We welcome projects in development from across the country.

Who
