Living Loughboy

We’re delighted to lead a series of public engagement events in Loughboy Library, Kilkenny City between Friday 25th and Thursday 31st of October.

‘Living Loughboy’ is an opportunity for people who live, work and learn in Loughboy and surrounding areas to take part in an exploration of what Loughboy means to them.

You’re invited to join in mapping workshops, leave a story or memory on a postcard, engage with ‘A Day in Life’ and take part in a seasonal family workshop. Please spread the word!

Our thanks to Kilkenny County Library for hosting the workshops.

Living Loughboy is a needs analysis for the Loughboy area, exploring community needs and opportunities. The Loughboy Library events form part of a larger process, which includes workshops in schools and with diverse community groups across the neighbourhood. This public engagement process is led by Workhouse Union on behalf of The Village Childcare & Community Services and funded by Kilkenny LEADER Partnership.
