Yesterday we celebrated the launch of the Crisis Cafe Kilkenny Feasibility Report with music, poetry and a gathering at Rothe House.
Malcolm Noonan T.D. launched the report with reflections about the strong creative, collaborative and community supports that are unique to Kilkenny and help foster this kind of work.
Paul Bokslag designed the report with a series of bespoke collages.
It’s been a privilege to work alongside Lifelinkk – Our Community Our Conversation on this year-long co-production process to explore aspects of developing a self-referral, non-clinical out of hours service and support for people presenting with a mental health crisis in Kilkenny and surrounding area. The feasibility study is led by an understanding and articulation of the needs of people experiencing a mental health crisis and the existing services and supports available.
Workhouse Union delivered the Feasibility Study on behalf of Lifelinkk with funding from Kilkenny LEADER Partnership and HSE Ireland.
